Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board has been reorganized into five companies in accordance with the provisions contained in the Section 131-134 of Electricity Act 2003 by the Govt. of Chhattisgarh vide Notification dated 19.12.2008.

Electrical:

• BE/ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engg.)/ AMIE in Electrical discipline from any  recognized University/ Institution.  (Approved by AICTE). 
• The degree of "Electrical & Electronics" / "Electrical & Instrumentation" will be considered equivalent to Electrical.

Electronic:

• BE/ B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engg.)/ AMIE in Electronics discipline from any  recognized University/ Institution.  (Approved by AICTE). 
• The degree of "Electronics  & Telecommunication" / "Electronics & Instrumentation" will be considered equivalent to Electronics.
